I would like to use this opportunity to reflect on an incredible idea to develop our wonderful sport Modern Pentathlon in Haryana under the Mission Olympic Program.
The aim is to undertake direct action to promote the Modern Pentathlon Sport Development programmes through its basic disciplines such as World School Biathlon, Modern Biathle (run/swim), Modern Triathle (shoot/swim/run) and Laser Run (shoot/run). Furthermore, the mission is to provide affordable equipment and establish new standards with coaches and former athletes recruited to contribute to the further growth of the sport statewide.
Our vision is to make Modern Pentathlon with all its disciplines (or sub-sports) more accessible to all, irrespective of gender, age or ethnic background. Its vision is also to provide a unique opportunity for growth at all socio-economic levels and most importantly to embrace the diversity and inclusiveness of our Modern Pentathlon family.
